Propet Men’s Walking Shoes Review – Comfort & Toe Mobility

Propet Men’s Walking Shoes

Price: $46.81 – $99.00
Color: black, bronco brown
Size: 7-12 3E-5E

Propet men’s commuterlite walking shoes are men’s wide shoes made of leather with a rubber sole and the heel measures approximately 1 1/2 inches. These propet shoes are extremely lightweight but sturdy enough to cushion your feet. They are very comfortable, almost like wearing slippers. The full grain leather upper of this men’s propet shoe has a breathable, brushed nylon lining and lace closure for an adjustable fit. The removable, replaceable EVA insole cradles and supports, and an internal heel counter reduces fatigue and enhances stability. This propet shoe resilient, cushioning sole has a wraparound heel, toe bumpers and a rubber traction insert. These shoes also give plenty of room in the toe box so that your toes aren’t squeezed together. Propel shoes are good for people who have foot problems because you can put orthopedic inserts inside the shoe to give more cushion, support and comfort. It is designed for normal walking on streets or floors but not hiking or power walking. Traction is good for normal walking. The shoe breathes about as much as any leather shoe with no venting. These shoes are so comfortable that they can be worn at work everyday. One drawback might be that in very bad weather such as heavy rain or snowy conditions you might want to wear a heavier shoe like boots to keep your feet dry and warm. The propet walking shoe still can be worn in most weather conditions during the spring, summer, fall and winter. These propet shoes definitely give more extra room for your feet than medium or narrow shoes which are tight and painful around the middle of the shoe and in the toe box. Also if you wear propet shoes for a while they will eventually stretch.

Personally, I wear a pair of black propet shoes called the executive walker (size 12 3E) and they are very comfortable to wear at work. These propet shoes with the plain toe provide extra room for my toes. I hope you enjoyed this propet walking shoes review and if you have any questions about the shoe please leave a comment below.

All the best,

Roger, I should definitely mention your shoes to my husband, who commutes regularly from and the station for an average 40 minutes walk per day. I understand when you say these shoes may not be suitable for heavy rain or snow weather conditions. I don’t believe any regular walking shoes sustain such extreme weather, as suitable foot wear should be worn like boots, as you mention. However, I am sure these shoes could sustain rain with a water proof spray applied on them?
Regardless, I am pretty sure my husband will go for them. Thank you.

      Hi Giulia,
Thanks for the comment. I have worn the propet walking shoes and it has enough insole cushioning to keep my feet dry from heavy rain.

      All the best,

thanks for the review roger but can you help me with how to ensure I get the right size.

I live in Australia and we import shoes from all over the world which never seem to have the same sizing systems or even any any consistency.
The other thing is that delivery all the way down here takes forever so you really want to get the size right first time.
Is there a way of measuring your foot and a chart to look up , similar to clothes size charts?
Have wide feet I have always had this type of trouble and tended to stick to my same styles shoes because I am just too lazy to try anything new.

      Hi Remy,
There is a foot product called the Brannock Device which gives the most accurate sizing of the foot. The Brannock device measures from heel to toe, arch and width of your your foot. A shoe size converter chart can be used to convert from US sizes to Euro sizes to UK sizes etc. You can find it on Google. I think this is the best solution to measuring your foot and a chart that converts different sizing systems.

      All the best,

These seem like some GREAT shoes, brother. I’m actually in need of some shoes but don’t know if these are ones I will like. Do you have any pictures or links anywhere so I can check them out? I like extra room in my shoes so these may be a fit for me. Cheers.

      Hi Brandon,
The first thing is to click on the propet men’s walking shoe amazon banner link or picture that is in the article. It will take you to the Amazon web page for propet men’s walking shoes which shows seven different images or pictures of the shoe. I think you will like the shoe because it does provide extra room for your toes and foot.

      All the best,

I’ve been needing to buy some new shoes for everyday use – I’m never really sold on fashion, they always have to be comfortable and durable. Thanks for the review – I’ll be checking out these shoes a little closer.

      Hi Chase,
I have worn Propet Men’s walking shoes for more than three years. These shoes are very comfortable because they provide extra room for the toe area and foot. Propet Men’s walking shoes are very comfortable to wear at work or walking long distances.
